Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Xting (“Xting”, “we”, “us”) covering the Xting mobile application and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use Xting
You must be at least 17 years old, and old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live. The Service contains mature themes and is not intended for minors. You may not let anyone under 17 use your account.
2. What the Service is
Xting is a turn-based story game for two players. You take turns making choices, and an artificial intelligence model writes the story that follows. Every character, event and line of dialogue in the Service is fictional and AI-generated, and all characters are adults. Nothing in the Service is a statement of fact, and nothing in it is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
Because the text is generated, we cannot guarantee that it will always be accurate, consistent, or to your taste. To keep games moving, an automated player may be matched with you when no human player is available.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for everything done through it. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access. You may delete your account from inside the app at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to depict minors, or anyone who could be taken for a minor, in a sexual context;
- depict a real, identifiable person in a sexual or defamatory way, or impersonate anyone;
- harass, threaten, or attempt to extort another player, or share another player’s private information;
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to plan or promote anything illegal;
- attempt to bypass content safeguards, rate limits, the credit system, or any other technical restriction;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or access the Service by automated means, or resell access to it;
- upload malware or otherwise interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund where the breach is serious.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the text you write. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, transmit and process it, and to send it to our AI provider, only so that we can operate the Service — including delivering it to the other player in your game and generating the scenes that follow from it.
Generated story text is provided to you for your personal, non-commercial use within the Service. The Xting name, logo, software and design are ours and may not be copied or used without permission.
6. Credits, purchases and subscriptions
Some content and features are unlocked with credits, and some are included in a paid subscription. Credits and turns are limited licences to use features of the Service. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred.
Monthly Premium includes 1,000 subscription turns and 100 subscription credits in each monthly billing period. Yearly Premium includes 10,000 subscription turns across twelve monthly entitlement windows tied to the subscription anniversary: 837 turns in the first window and 833 turns in each of the remaining eleven windows. Each yearly window also includes 100 subscription credits. Unused subscription turns and subscription credits expire at the end of their applicable billing period or monthly window and do not roll over.
Credits bought separately in a credit pack do not expire at the end of a subscription period and remain available if Premium ends. Turns obtained by exchanging credits are add-on turns; they also do not expire at the end of a subscription period. When you use turns or credits, the Service spends the balance that expires first. All remaining balances end when your account is deleted. A refund or payment reversal may remove the corresponding credits, turns or subscription entitlement.
All purchases are made through Apple and are charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at purchase unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, and we cannot issue them directly. If a reserved story turn fails on our side, it is not consumed and its reservation is released. If a feature charged in credits fails, the associated credit charge is released or refunded.
Prices, credit costs and what a subscription includes may change. Changes apply from the next billing period, never retroactively.
7. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to keep it available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if keeping your account open would create a risk to other users or to us. Sections 5, 9, 10 and 11 survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection right you have in the country where you live.
12. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the Service. Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
